പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ 
പണിപ്പെടലിനു ശേഷം 
വെളിവാകുന്ന ദൈവകണമല്ല;

ഒരു പണിയുമില്ലാതെയിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍
തലയില്‍ വന്നു വീഴുന്ന 
ആ ആപ്പിളാണ് കവിത.
